Becoming an Author

To sell on Dreams Marketplace you open a seller studio, complete a tax profile, and pass identity verification (KYC). Until verification is approved, your listings stay in draft and cannot be published to the public catalog.

Commission

Dreams Marketplace charges a flat 15% commission on the item price of every completed sale — you keep 85%. The rate is fixed platform-wide and is deducted automatically at checkout; you never need to remit it manually.

Payouts

Your 85% share accrues to your seller balance as orders complete and clear any refund window. Payouts are batched and released to the bank or payment details on file for your verified tax profile; each payout run is reconciled against the underlying orders and any refunds or reversals issued in that period.

Content Ownership and License Grant to Buyers

You retain ownership of everything you upload. By publishing a listing, you grant Dreams Marketplace a license to host, display, and deliver your product, and you grant each buyer the license terms you configure on that listing — node-locked or seat-based, license policy, activation limits, and update window. You represent that you own, or hold full rights to sell, everything in your listing.

Prohibited Content

You may not list stolen, plagiarized, or malware-laced content, content that infringes another party's intellectual property, or anything that violates applicable law. Violations can result in takedown, commission forfeiture on the affected sale, and account termination.

Refunds and Chargebacks

Sales are subject to the platform Refund Policy's 14-day window. An approved refund reverses your commission split for that order and is deducted from your next payout reconciliation; repeated refund or chargeback activity against your listings may trigger a manual review of your seller account.

Termination of Seller Status

We may suspend or terminate your seller privileges for policy violations, sustained refund or chargeback abuse, or failed re-verification. You may close your seller account at any time; buyers who already hold a valid license retain their download and activation rights for that license's term.
